Contract Service:   McIlwain School Bus Lines, Inc. Maintenance Service:   Preventative Maintenance is such a crucial part of our business and that is why we utilize each and every resource to properly and effectively manage our fleet.  All of our buses meet both Federal and State Standards and requirements.  Supervisors and qualified mechanics review daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports to immediately fix any issue that may result in the course of a school day.    Our school buses require a Pennsylvania State Police inspection in addition to the semi-annual vehicle inspection.  McIlwain School Bus Lines, Inc. employs a very progressive computer software program that tracks everything from brake wear to lubrication services in order to properly sustain a safe and mission capable fleet.   If you're a contractor or school district interested in our maintenance program and reducing downtime on vehicles, please call us to discuss what may be available to you.

Special Needs Transportation:   Throughout our years of service, we have seen an increased necessity for special needs transportation.  MSBL has never been more prepared to handle this ever changing aspect of our business.  We will work directly with the school district to help determine the vehicle that is best equipped to haul your students.  Our special needs vehicles are designed to lift and secure wheel chairs and are generally much more maneuverable than other school buses.  They utilize booster seats and car seats as necessary to meet the needs of our students.  The advantage is that they still carry the same high level of safety.
